The Tameside Safeguarding Children Board web site has been designed to comply with the guidelines issued by W3C. All pages on this site comply with priority 1 (A) guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

The Tameside Safeguarding Children Board website has been designed to provide a consistent structure throughout, so users will know exactly where to find navigation, content and new information.

The website is structured as follows:-

Top bar - This includes the Tameside Safeguarding Children Board branding, facility to change font size and Search function. All these links are accessible from every page within the web site.
Top panel - This contains the main navigation links, which provide access to the key areas and content of the web site. Clicking on a top-level navigation link takes you to a section and in some sections the navigation bar on the right hand side also expands to show sub-level categories.
Content area - The central content area updates to present the page of content that has been selected.
Footer - This contains links to information on accessibility, legal disclaimer and sitemap.
