Child Sexual Exploitation - Research Update The research project at the International Centre for the Study of Sexually Exploited and Trafficked Young People is based on an exploration of how LSCBs are fulfilling their coordinating role and responsibilities with regard to delivering a child sexual exploitation strategy, set out in the guidance on Safeguarding Children and Young People from Sexual Exploitation, published last year. The What’s Going On special edition identifies that partnership working is central to tackling sexual exploitation. It describes some of the initiatives that have been taking place as well as the centrality of good recognition and risk assessment. For further information about the research project click here |
