Coronavirus measures

In view of continuing measures to manage the impact of Coronavirus we are continuing to redesign our programme of training to facilitate webinar type virtual courses and the courses on offer up to and including March 2021 are shown below. As additional courses come online they will be included and advertised separately. Bookings will continue to be via individual learner accounts.

The overall situation regarding Multi-Agency Training is constantly under review and it is hoped that a phased return to face-to-face training will occur at some stage during 2021. Once further information becomes available it will be published on our website.

Additional e-learning modules, resources & guidance during Coronavirus measures

Tameside Safeguarding Children Partnership has suspended all Multi-Agency Training until the end of May 2020 when the decision will be reviewed. As an interim measure we would like to make available to the workforce a number of free national resources, which can be found on the E-Learning page.

Virtual Training Events using Skype for Business Web App

Tameside Safeguarding Children Partnership (TSCP) are now providing webinar type courses, which have replaced face-to-face courses scheduled prior to the first lockdown in March. ‘Skype for Business’ software will be utilised for some of the courses.

Not all partner agencies or stakeholders will currently have access to Skype for Business, but this shouldn’t be an issue; participant’s will be invited to the event via an Outlook meeting invitation, what is important is that the participant clicks on the right link!
